Just like in the sports world, there are feuds in the music world, too.

Certain athletes are friends and then something happens that makes them enemies.  It happens in sports, it happens in life and it certainly happens in music.

A good musical example of this involves Kendrick Lamar and Drake.  The two were supportive of each other's careers at first as Kendrick appeared on 'Take Care' and Drake appeared on 'Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City.'

The two were fine until Kendrick called himself better than any other emcee working today when he appeared on the 2013 song "Control."

Since then, the two have fired subliminal shots at each other in a number of songs, all but confirming that the two don't like each other.

Seeing as it's 'Wayback Wednesday', we wanted to look back at better times, also known as the time Kendrick was on Cabbie Presents when he and Drake were still friends.

It's interesting to go back to 2013 and listen to Kendrick talk about Drake knowing what we know now.

The two are very relevant now for obvious reasons ('More Life,' 'DAMN.') and less obvious reasons, too.

After Kendrick released his new album, Drake commented on this picture and liked it:

Have the two put the past behind them?  Who knows, but it's cool to know at one point wayback in the day, there was no feud.
