The Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens went head-to-head in their final meeting of the regular season on Sunday. Both teams entered the game heading in different directions, with the Canadiens losing six of their last eight and the Bruins winning five of their last seven.

However, it doesn’t matter if one of the two teams is in first place and the other is in last place, there’s always going to be bad blood between the two Original 6 rivals. With that being said, it took less than a minute for these two teams to drop the gloves on Sunday, as Andrew Shaw and Torey Krug went toe-to-toe 58 seconds into the game.

After both Krug and Shaw made their way to the penalty box, referee Wes McCauley made one of the greatest calls of all-time as he announced the penalties to those in attendance and watching on television.

We’ve seen referees have some fun with these calls before, and we’ve also seen them completely mess them up. However, this is easily the greatest penalty call of all-time as he put all that unneeded emphasis on “Fighting”.
