Since 1998, Predators fans have been waiting for a season like this one.

Before the 2016-17 campaign, the Predators had never made it past the second round of the playoffs, meaning they had never been to the Stanley Cup final.

Nashville made history this postseason, though, by accomplishing both feats and they're now two wins away from winning the Cup.

The city of Nashville has been unlike any other during the Stanley Cup final thus far, and media members and fans have noticed and raved about the unique atmosphere of the city.

Before the final, Predators CEO Sean Henry estimated between 20,000 - 30,000 people would be cheering the team on outside of Bridgestone Arena, but the number of people outside the rink was even bigger than that.

In other words, Smashville's been lit so far and we imagine it will get to another level completely Sunday for Game 6.

Now, hockey fans may have noticed that James Duthie and the panel have been doing their hits in Nashville on top of building that just so happens to be the world famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge.

Ahead of Game 6, Duthie took fans on a tour of Tootsie's to give them a feel of what Nashville has been like during the Stanley Cup final.

Tootsie's and the rest of Smashville will be rocking Sunday as the Predators attempt to force a Game 7.
