Intermission entertainment is always fun at hockey games, but when dogs are involved, it's even better.

Obviously not everyone likes dogs, but the majority of people do, and seeing them race on the ice is always a sight to behold.

Fans in attendance at the Michigan/Michigan State hockey game Friday night got the opportunity to see that sight first hand as there was a wiener dog race during an intermission, and it was as adorable as it sounds.

There was one problem, though, and it's one you probably won't be surprised by, the dogs ended up going number one and two on the ice.

Can't blame the dogs on that one.  They just wanted to provide fans with entertainment, and they did, more so than the actual game did as the home team lost to the Spartans 3-0.
