Colton Phinney spent the past four years playing between the pipes at Princeton University and now he has his sights set on making the next step to the NHL.

The 24-year-old netminder joined the Winnipeg Jets franchise this past summer on a one-year deal and is currently spending time with their ECHL affiliate, the Jacksonville Icemen.

On Thursday, the Chatham, New Jersey native unveiled his first Winnipeg Jets-themed mask and it’s pretty awesome.

The top of the mask features a massive maple leaf and also has the old school Jets logo on the chin area, while the sides of the mask are dedicated to the Manitoba Moose logo.

Phinney still has some ways to go until he makes his NHL debut, but we hope he gets his big break sometime soon because his mask looks sharp.
