Jarrius “J.J.” Robertson was the talk of the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game after he joined the action and knocked down a shot from outside the paint. Robertson, 14, is battling a chronic liver disease called biliary atresia. Despite his condition, the youngster is in good spirits and managed to get a laugh out of dunk competition contestant DeAndre Jordan.

After Robertson was fortunate to meet Jordan and have him sign his WWE belt, the block machine center complimented Robertson on his epic shot. The teen’s response to the comment? Well, it wasn’t exactly flattering.

That’s right, he said “I shoot better than you.”

Jordan has never been regarded as a great shooter, but his .502% free throw percentage is the second best of his career and a valid defence.

It’s moments like this that make you appreciate the beauty of sports.
