The Ottawa Senators fought back a few times in Game 5 on Saturday to take a 3-2 series lead over the New York Rangers.

The Senators are now one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference Final and can do so with a victory in New York on Tuesday night.

With plenty of extra time between Game 5 and Game 6, the Senators used Monday morning to practice at Madison Square Garden. As the team hit the ice to get practice going, some young fans ‘welcomed’ them to New York City ahead of Game 6.

They didn’t stop there, though. They went after former Ranger Derick Brassard almost immediately after.

Brassard was a member of the Rangers from 2012-2016 and he scored the game-tying goal late in Game 5 to send the game to overtime.
