Philadelphia went absolutely bananas on Sunday night after Nick Foles and the Eagles pummeled the Minnesota Vikings to advance to the Super Bowl.

Philadelphia fans are famously, err, let’s say loyal, and when they are happy about something then you better strap on a helmet because it’s about to get rowdy.

While the videos kept flowing onto the World Wide Web last night, everyone’s favourite had to be the incredible subway footage of a man chasing the already-departed train. It’s not exactly clear what his intentions were if he were able to catch the train, he seemed to be trying to hype up the passengers on the train, but what ended up happening was certainly not what he meant to do.

This is a hilarious video that even everyone on the train seems to enjoy, but what is unclear is what ended up happening to this poor fellow after his now-viral collision with the pillar. Is it possible that he even made contact with the moving train?

Well now we know.

Since the crash that was heard around the city, a second angle of the incident has appeared. It appears the Eagles fan had a friend filming the moment from the platform itself, allowing us to play the two videos side-by-side to really grasp the situation.

According to transit officials, the unidentified man was alright after the impact. We’ll see how much more madness emerges over the next two weeks as the Eagles and their faithful prepare for their first Super Bowl appearance since 2005 (they were beat by the Patriots that year, by the way.)
