On Wednesday, the CFL released each team's negotiation list and it marked the second time this year that the negotiation lists were made public for everyone to see.

These lists consist of a number of big names that include both NCAA and NFL players, and the reason teams place players on this list is if a player makes it clear he wants to come to the CFL, said team has the first chance to negotiate a deal with that player.

As we said, there are a number of big names and we wanted to point out eight of the biggest names on the negotiation lists that were released to the public.

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens (BC Lions negotiation list)

The 2016 Heisman winner has been electric for the Baltimore Ravens since taking over for the injured Joe Flacco.  He still has a ways to go as a passer, but the raw ability is incredibly intriguing.

Jake Fromm, Georgia Bulldogs (BC Lions negotiation list)

The Georgia Bulldogs are back as one of the premiere teams in college football thanks in large part to Jake Fromm.  The sophomore projects as one of the top quarterbacks for the 2020 NFL draft.

Ian Book, Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Saskatchewan Roughriders negotiation list)

The Fighting Irish are in the College Football Playoff this year and Ian Book is a big reason why that is.  Book started his first game in Week 4 against Wake Forest and Notre Dame's offence has taken off since.

Trace McSorley, Penn State Nittany Lions (Saskatchewan Roughriders negotiation list)

Penn State has had a number of legendary quarterbacks pass through Happy Valley, but Trace McSorley is the winningest of those quarterbacks and he gets the job done with his arm and legs.

Easton Stick, North Dakota State Bison (Hamilton Tiger-Cats negotiation list)

Easton Stick is more than just the most Canadian football name out there.  He's also a talented quarterback from the same school Carson Wentz went to.

Tua Tagavailoa, Alabama Crimson Tide (Hamilton Tiger-Cats negotiation list)

A Heisman finalist this year, Tua is one of the best quarterbacks in college football and projects to be a top-ten pick in 2020 when he's draft eligible.

Will Grier, West Virginia Mountaineers (Toronto Argonauts negotiation list)

Grier led West Virginia's high-flying offence and finished his career with 81 touchdown passes (37 this past season).  He won't be playing in his team's Bowl game to prepare for the upcoming draft.

Shaquem Griffin, Seattle Seahawks (Toronto Argonauts negotiation list)

Arguably the sports world's most inspirational story, Shaquem Griffin is making an impact for the Seahawks in his first season in Seattle on special teams.
