The New England Patriots have been on a tear this season as they entered Monday night’s game against the New York Jets 6-0 and it’s their defence who deserves a lot of the credit.

New England entered Monday’s tilt with the Jets with 190 points for and just 48 against and they added to their dominant season by dropping 17 points in the first quarter and 24 as a whole in the first half. However, most teams would head into halftime with a 24-point lead feeling confident that they’re going to win the game, but apparently a 24-point at halftime still isn’t a large enough lead to make Bill Belichick pleased.

After going up 24-0 in the second quarter, cameras caught Belichick talking to his defence on the sidelines and he didn’t look like someone who’s 6-0 on the year and up 24 points in the game.

Belichick was probably just telling his players not to get ahead of themselves and that there’s plenty of football left to play, but we like to imagine him cursing out his players for not completely knocking out the Jets by halftime.

You don’t win all those championships by fluke.
