Jordan Binnington started the 2018-19 season in the AHL with the San Antonio Rampage, but he ended the campaign as the St. Louis Blues’ No. 1 goaltender and a Stanley Cup champion.

The 26-year-old played one of the biggest roles in the Blues capturing their first ever Stanley Cup in franchise history and Blues fans are happy to have Binnington under contract for the next two years. If you’re wondering just how happy they are to have Binnington between the pipes, we think this video says it all.

While sitting in traffic earlier this week, a Blues fan put his car in the middle of rush hour on I-64 just to dap up Binnington to show the Blues goalie some respect.

Binnington went 24-5-1 with five shutouts, a 1.89 goals against average and a .927 save percentage in 30 regular season starts and went 16-10 with one shutout, a 2.46 goals against average and a .914 save percentage in 26 playoff games as a rookie.
