A Bobby Orr card is about to sell for a ton of dough through auction.

Lelands, a sports memorabilia and card auction house established in 1985 is set to sell a 1966 Bobby Orr USA Test #35 PSA Mint 9 Pop 1/1 Bobby Orr rookie card for $140,510… American. Well, at least that’s what the last bid was placed at. Bidding ends at 10 PM Eastern Time, though the most recent one was made on January 17th.

A Bobby Orr picture or a brand new fully loaded Range Rover? You decide!

While the price seems outlandish, it’s not even set to become the most expensive one sold (barring a massive bidding war ahead of the deadline). The record for the highest hockey ever card purchased belongs to a buyer who paid $465,000 American for a 1979 O-Pee-Chee rookie card at an auction at the National Sports Collectors Convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Uh… How about three fully loaded Range Rovers?!

Lelands has been involved in some MASSIVE deals. Their website mentions their involvement with “The Mickey Mantle Auction of the Greer Johnson Collection ($1.3M), The Harry M. Stevens Auction ($1.8M), and the famed Boston Garden Auction ($2M total sales).” Seems like a pretty cool industry to be in!
