A week after the U.S. Open, some of golf’s best are taking in the Traveler’s Championship in Crowell, Connecticut.
Players on the PGA are well versed in the challenges that a fan, weather or any sort of animal can do for a golfer ready to hit their tee shot.
You can now add squirrels to that list.
Just as Rory McIlroy was ready to tee and start his third round of action, he was interrupted by a very curious squirrel. After a few moments of laughter from Rory and all the spectators.
Talk about a shifty little squirrel.
The friendly little fella stuck around for the shot, as was spotted buzzing around the course later on.
He was probably looking for his friends Allan and Paul.
