The Penguins are going to be without Sidney Crosby for the next six weeks, after he underwent surgery to repair a sports hernia.

It’s never easy to lose a Crosby-level talent from the lineup, but no worries, Evgeni Malkin’s got this.

A fire alarm went off in the Penguins locker room mid-interview, and a lightbulb went off in Malkin’s head.

That’s funny... but are we not going to talk about there apparently being a fire in the locker room?

Geno already missed a month to begin the season after going down in the Penguins’ second game, so he knows the team has already had to pick up the slack in his absence. This time, he’ll shoulder the burden.

He will be... fire.
