A hockey team took a team photo with a Civil War era camera and the photo is magnificent

Victorian Photography Studio is a wet plate and digital photography studio located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, that specializes in taking Civil War photographs and Victorian style portraits for many different occasions.

Not only do they specialize in vintage photography, but they also sponsor a local hockey team.

Some of you were asking about the colors of the VPS team jerseys. They're a bright gold and brown. Unfortunately, in the collodion color scale, that gold comes out almost the same color as the brown does! #hockey #beerleague #victorian #wetplate #collodion #tintype #colorscale

Since they specialize in Civil War style photographs, they decided to snap a team photo with their special camera and it came out looking very awesome.

Although the jerseys look a little different in the second photo, they mentioned in the first Instagram post that the bright gold and brown on the jerseys ended up blending together because the gold comes out as almost the same colour as the brown on the collodion colour scale. Either way, the final photo still looks awesome.
