There's a reason football fans and players are so excited about Johnny Manziel signing with Hamilton on Saturday and that reason is at one time, Manziel was one of the most exciting players in the sport.

That time may have been when he was in college at Texas A&M, but every time he stepped on the field in his two years as an Aggie, it was must-see.
For CFL fans only familiar with Manziel's name and his brief NFL career, here's a taste of what he's bringing North of the border.

Perhaps the most memorable moment of Manziel's college career was his game against No. 1 ranked Alabama in 2012.  Manziel threw for 253 yards, rushed for 129 yards and accounted for four touchdowns in the upset win.

Then in 2013, Manziel torched the vaunted Bama defence by throwing for 464 yards and 5 scores in a loss.

As you can see, every single time he touches the ball, he can make something happen and that's what makes the signing so exciting.

While the CFL will be an adjustment for Manziel, mobile quarterbacks that can throw can thrive on the bigger field and we can't wait to see him do just that.
