The Texas Longhorns and the Georgia Bulldogs have two of the most storied programs in college football, and that includes their respective mascots. On one side, you have Bevo, the actual Texas longhorn that inspires the fanbase’s iconic Hook ‘Em Horns sign, and on the other, you have Uga, a bulldog that everyone loves on the basis that he's a bulldog.

So, when the Longhorns and the Bulldogs faced off on Tuesday, we guess that somebody thought it’d be a good idea to have a meeting of the mascots.

Narrator: It wasn’t.

Nobody was harmed in this incident, and generally, there are few such incidents involving Bevo as the longhorns are intentionally bred to be docile and, well, a lovable mascot.

It seems to be a banner week for animals getting loose at football games, though.
