On Thursday afternoon, the NHL announced that Montreal Canadiens forward Max Domi had been suspended for the remaining of the pre-season for his sucker punch on Panthers forward Aaron Ekblad.
 


After the game, several Panthers player spoke out and voiced their displeasure with Domi's punch, including veteran goaltender Roberto Luongo, who referred to the punch as "gutless."

Ekblad, meanwhile, was forced to leave the game and undergo tests for a concussion under the NHL's protocol. Tests came back negative, meaning he was okay.

To show the hockey world the after effects of Domi's flurry of punches, the Panthers defenceman uploaded a selfie of his post sucker punch face of himself cuddling his dog.

Cute....dog.
 
The good thing is that Ekblad only came out with a couple of shiners and no broken bones or a concussion, which his significant given his concussion history.
