There’s a Tiger on the prowl, and his reward is right in his sight lines.

Tiger Woods shot a five-under 65 on Saturday and sits 12-under with a three-stroke lead over Justin Rose and Rory McIlroy, who sits tied for second entering Sunday’s final round of action.

Woods will play in the final group with McIlroy on Sunday at East Lake Golf Club. The 42-year-old has led since Thursday’s first round, meaning he enters the final round in Atlanta, Georgia, with a 54-hole round lead.

According to the Golf Channel’s Justin Ray, a noted stats guru for the Golf Channel, Woods is essentially a lock to win his first tournament since the Bridgestone Invitational in 2013.

With Rose and McIlroy chasing down Tiger’s tail, Woods has never suffered defeat in his entire career when entering the final round with a three-shot lead. His overall record is 42-2 when heading into Sunday.

If Tiger is able to hold on, it’ll be his 80th career PGA Tour win.

He could also take home the FedEX Cup, the PGA Tour’s Championship trophy that accumulates from the year that will be decided on Sunday as well.
