While the door hasn’t officially closed on the Baltimore Orioles’ season quite yet, doors are literally closing on members of the team inside elevators.

After Friday night’s loss to the Blue Jays in extra innings, Adam Jones and Chris Davis got stuck inside of an elevator for over 30 minutes with a few Orioles fans.

Temperatures hit over 30 degrees on Friday night with humidity factored in. You can only imagine how hot it was inside the elevator.

Eventually, the doors were pried open, allowing everything to breathe a collective sigh of relief and seek cooler air after a helping hand from the Toronto Fire Department.

Here's Jones' Instagram story documenting all of it.

The Orioles are currently trapped in the basement of the American League East sitting 40.5 games behind the first place Boston Red Sox with a 28-70 record entering Saturday’s slate of games.
