It’s December and time is running out for athletes to join the play of the year conversation. With that in mind, Laval Rocket forward Nikita Jevpalovs made a final push that should garner attention from hockey fans across the world.

The Rocket took on the Belleville Senators last night and Jevpalovs put on a show for the home crowd when he scored while falling down. If that wasn’t enough, he was also doing a spin-o-rama. Check out this beauty:

Just a ridiculous goal 😲. . (H/T AHL TV/ @jayanddan)

Sheer strength and concentration right there!

Jevapolovs has got some serious competition from a goal that took place just over a month ago. He didn’t fall, but Binghamton Devils forward Colton White put home one of the AHL’s goals of the year after completing a smooth spin-o-rama and sniping top corner short side.

Right where momma hides the cookies!

And then there was Peewee AAA player Lucas Kamiris, who showed both these dudes up with some magic of his own.

12 years old people. 12!!!!

So, does Jevpalovs' snipe deserve goal of the year consideration?
