The summer of Alex Ovechkin is in full swing with the newest Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals celebrating their triumph with a raucous parade. As has been the theme since Thursday's victory, the festivities were chalked full of hilarious moments of celebration, particularly from Caps captain Alex Ovechkin.

Ovi has fully solidified himself into the hearts of hockey fans everywhere with his genuine enthusiasm. That enthusiasm shined through ten-fold when he stepped up to the mic in a very candid moment.

Ovi brings back his slogan from the beginning of the year 😂

What sounds like a grammatical error ("We're not going to be suck") was actually said intentionally by the Russian (this time, at least). It is a joke making a call back to a time that he actually flubbed.

Ever since the mess up, Ovi himself has been seen a few times referencing the line in a hilarious show of self-deprevation.

A dream come true for Alex #Ovechkin.
