It’s safe to say that Alex Rodriguez knows a thing or two about controversy. His 162-game suspension in the 2014 season for using performance-enhancing drugs ties the longest suspension in MLB history, and that's after he appealed to reduce the original suspension from 211 games.

So, Rodriguez has some firsthand insight into what the Houston Astros are going through right now, and to hear it in his words, the Astros are going to deserve everything they get this season, especially given the lack of remorse they’ve shown about the cheating scandal.

For A-Rod, the biggest thing is that the Astros haven’t owned up to their actions, and from his perspective — the perspective of somebody who went on his own apology tour after the PEDs scandal — that’s the most important thing before things can really go back to business as usual.

Well, we don’t think it’s going to be business as usual for a while for the Astros. Spring training has been a rowdy time for the team so far, from being struck by pitches to jeers from opposing players and fans, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to let up any time soon.
