Jersey mishaps happen from time to time in sports and it's better if they happen during a preseason game rather than a regular season game because the last thing any player wants to worry about during a meaningful game is his or her jersey.

On Saturday night, Alexander Radulov of the Stars was the player dealing with jersey issues during a preseason game against the Panthers, but luckily for him his team came up with a creative solution to get solve his sweater problem with the help of a fan.

A fan by the name of Levi Patton was wearing a Radulov jersey and someone from the Stars' actually asked him if Radulov could wear the jersey off his back for the rest of the game.

The jersey was a replica, but it was better than the one that Radulov had been wearing in the first period and Levi got his jersey back after the game with a signature from No. 47.

This fan was happy to help out his favorite player @radulov22 Radulov’s Jersey was severely wrinkled, and they asked for Levi’s Jersey I got him. Wish I didn’t screw up and buy him a fanatics jersey last Christmas, but I didn’t know any better 🤷🏼‍♀️ sorry Alex! EDIT: maybe folks on different forums claim this was fake. Whelp, it’s not. It was an exhibition game at the @bokcenter in Tulsa 9/22/18 against Florida. Radulov’s Jersey was so wrinkled it was halfway up his waist and his #47 just looked rough. I’m told the event was televised, and there is proof on Fox with the @fanatics patch. We have several photos of his back that’s missing the adidas logo. Seeing that the game was in Oklahoma, I guess they had no spares. They asked for Levi’s. It happened brah. #dallasstars #radulov #happyfan #canwehavetheotherjerseytoo @radul22 for Twitter

As per sportslogos.net, you can see the patch on Radulov's jersey referenced in the Instagram post above:

The story is true and it's an absolutely incredible story at that seeing as we'll probably never see a team ask a fan for his or jersey for a player to wear during a game again.
