Whenever international tournaments take place there’s bound to be friendly wagers made between people, especially professional athletes. Whether it’s the Olympic Games or the World Juniors, they’re always finding ways to get involved and make things a little more interesting.

Last week we saw Shea Weber don a Finland T-shirt following Canada’s loss to Finland at the tournament and now another player is feeling the aftermath of a loss to the Finns. During HC Sibir Novosibirsk’s practice on Thursday, American forward Shane Prince stayed true to his word on a bet with teammate Jukka Peltola and did a lap on the ice in a Team Finland hockey jersey.

It’s always fun to see what kind of friendly wagers athletes come up with and it’s even more fun when they stay true to their word and come through on the bet.
