Detroit Pistons big man Andre Drummond is currently having himself a career-year as he’s averaging 17.5 points and a league-high 16.7 rebounds per game.

The Pistons are currently in Mexico City to play the Dallas Mavericks and Drummond was listed as a true game-time decision for a very unusual reason.

We’ve definitely never seen “(Avocado)” listed beside someone’s name as a reason for them possibly missing a game, and we most likely never will see it ever again unless Drummond accidentally eats something with avocado in it down the road.

Pistons fans and fantasy players with Drummond on their teams were probably rattled when they got the notification or heard the news, but don’t worry, he ended up suiting up and started for the Pistons.

The 26-year-old has led the NBA in rebounds per game for the past two seasons and three of the past four years, and he’s on pace to doing it once again this season.
