Athletes can have an incredible impact on young fans by simply taking the time to meet them or share a special moment with them.
Remember, every athlete was once a young fan who dreamed of meeting his or her idols, so when we see athletes give back and return the favour now that they've made it big, it makes our heart melt a little bit.
Thursday, Anthony Duclair and a young fan named Gracie shared one of those special moments as she wrote him a letter asking him to marry her, and of course Duclair said yes.
If that doesn't make your heart melt, nothing will.
Gracie, the young fan that proposed to Duclair, is a big Coyotes fan and she and her sister have met some other players, too.
As for Duclair, he was very excited to be engaged.
Upon hearing the news, Zach Fucale and Devante Smith-Pelly had some fun on Twitter with Duclair.
While the Coyotes lost Thursday night 5-4 to Detroit, we imagine Gracie is still one happy girl thanks to Duclair.
