Once again, Antonio Brown is out of football. It looks like he’ll be a one-and-done for the Patriots after being released just days after his Week 2 debut for the team.

Antonio Brown's tenure in New England lasts one game.

It’s been a crazy couple of months for AB, and they’ve come with some serious financial cost as well. Remember, the deal he signed in March with the Raiders originally promised $30 million in guarantees, and his contract with the Patriots had $9 million guaranteed.

However, after the guarantees in his Raiders contract were voided following his confrontation with GM Mike Mayock, Brown may not get his guaranteed money from the Patriots, either — the guarantee date on his contract is set for this upcoming Monday.

As a result, Brown may only come away from 2019 with a single game cheque: $158,333.

AB's 2019 earnings in the NFL may be reduced to just a single game cheque 😬

Athletes’ careers (and earning potential) are generally short-lived, but AB has banked millions upon millions in his NFL career already and you can’t say that he isn't at fault for his own losses here. Still, this is a stunning number to lose in just 2019 guarantees.

What a wild, wild year it has been for AB.
