The Antonio Brown saga continues with yet another twist, exactly as you thought it would. While teams around the NFL gear up for action on Sunday morning, AB is... claiming that he’s done with the league?

Is AB done playing in the NFL?

Brown has lost almost $40 million in guarantees this year — his $30 million from the Raiders was voided, and the first installment of his $9 million guarantee with the Patriots was due to be paid on Monday, leaving him with just a single game cheque in 2019 earnings.

As a result of Brown’s tweets, one NFL source tells ESPN’s Adam Schefter that he’ll certainly never see that guaranteed money from the Patriots now, regardless of the league's ruling.

In response to the two sexual assault accusations made against him in recent weeks, Brown draws comparisons to other accusations against Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who was suspended by the league for four games in 2010, as well as Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe.

Continuing his tweetstorm, AB appears to endorse the harassment of Robert Klemko, the Sports Illustrated journalist who reported the second allegation of sexual assault against Brown.

It remains to be seen what results from this. The NFL’s investigation into the accusations against Brown is still ongoing, and his agent was claiming as recently as Saturday night that there were still teams interested in Brown.

This story will be updated with further tweets from Brown as well as any fallout.
