With the NBA settling into what’s been deemed “bubble life”, we’re starting to get some player reaction to their new surroundings. A lot of it has been negative, from the paltry meals to complaints about the hotel rooms (which, in fairness, don’t look that bad).

On Friday, it was revealed that there may be some major positives to restarting the season in Disney World. With the park all but empty given the COVID-19 virus, NBA players will apparently have access to some of the rides.

According to a document obtained by Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today, players will be able to good after-hours visits to some of the theme parks major attractions. Included in the list of approved rides in Expedition Everest in the Animal Kingdom park, Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios, and Test Track in Epcot.

"Players will have the first opportunity to select experiences on a first come first serve basis and are recommended to book experiences at least 48 hours in advance," the memo said. "Open slots for experiences will be released 24 hours prior to the beginning of the event, during which period other members of the team travel party may book available inventory."

On top of this, the players will have the opportunity to book other excursions, including golf and boating trips, as well as “luxury bowling”.

Overall, this is likely refreshing news to players that are feeling a little claustrophobic in their new setup. The meme was reportedly delivered on Wednesday evening, which also included points about personal care workers on site. That means you’ll be seeing some fresh fades when the players finally hit the court.

While NBA players have certainly earned a reputation of being a little dramatic towards situations that aren’t that bad (looking at you, Rajon Rondo), this is hard news to complain about!
