Artemiy Panarin and Sergei Bobrovsky are no longer teammates, but they’ve clearly remained close friends since joining their new teams.
The Russians spent two season together with the Columbus Blue Jackets before leaving town over the offseason. Panarin, who led the Jackets with 87 points last season, jetted for the Big Apple while two-time Vezina winner Officer BOBROVSKY elected to head to the much warmer Florida. Brobrovsky turned the big 3 1 today (not actually a big birthday who are we kidding), and his old pal decided to post the least flattering photo of him to celebrate the occasion.
Did anyone even realize how crazy Bobrovsky’s flow was back in the day?
That loaf… fans were loving it.
We’ve seen these two post some whacky stuff on the internet in the past. Like the time they wore their shirts like this during the 2019 NHL postseason.
Panarin’s birthday is right around the corner (October 30) so don’t be surprised if Bobrovsky claps back on Twitter for it.
