The Toronto Maple Leafs are coming off two tough losses to the Detroit Red Wings and the Boston Bruins, but they still have plenty of reasons to smile through their first 30 games as they sit second in the entire league with 41 points.

Their last win came against the Sabres in Buffalo on Tuesday and it was a night to remember for Auston Matthews, who finished with two goals including the game-winner in overtime, and three points. The 21-year-old’s first goal of the night came in the second period and it did not go unnoticed as he got a special shout-out from Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss in Sunday’s edition of ‘You Got Mossed’.

Matthews did his best hockey-version impression of Randy Moss and it worked out in his favour as he potted his 14th goal of the season. Not only did he find the back of the net thanks to his heads-up play, but he also earned a spot on Moss’ weekly segment, marking the first time an NHL player has made an appearance in the segment.

Despite missing 14 games, the 2016 first overall pick has been on another level this year as he’s already got 16 goals and 26 points in just 16 games.
