The Hockey Fights Cancer initiative is in full swing in the NHL and teams and players have already found different ways to show their support for and inspire those who are living with, going through and moving past cancer.

The Colorado Avalanche hosted their annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Thursday when they played the Carolina Hurricanes and they had a lot of special guests on hand for the game and for the ceremonial puck drop.

Throughout the night, the team invited fans to stop by their photo booth to take photos with special message boards showing who they’re fighting for and the final outcome was incredible.

The photos were printed out on the spot and were later used to create an incredible mosaic of the Avalanche players celebrating a goal.

It’s awesome to see all the Avalanche fans come together to help create this outstanding mosaic and they did a fantastic job with the final piece.
