Whether it was a foul ball or a home run, we’ve seen fans make some incredible catches in the stands at baseball games over the years, but we witnessed a catch unlike any other on Thursday afternoon.

In the bottom of the first inning, Oakland A’s second baseman Josh Harrison fouled off a pitch from Chicago White Sox pitcher Reynaldo Lopez and the fan who caught it might have made the catch of the year.

That’s definitely the first time we’ve seen a fan catch a ball at a baseball game with their fanny pack, on purpose or not, and now he’s got a souvenir thanks to the accessory.
