Take note, NBA, the Toronto Raptors are for real.

The Raps put a pounding on the reigning Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers with a 133-99 victory on Thursday night in Toronto, sending a statement throughout the basketball world.

The story of the game had to be Fred VanVleet and the Raps bench. VanVleet came off the bench and drained a career high 22 points, helping the bench contribute with 76 total on the night.

It was the first time in ten games that a team with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade on it had lost to the Raps. James finished with 26 points and was caught on camera losing it on his teammtes as frustrations mounted.

With the 133 points on the night, the Raptors set a franchise record  with the most ever points scored in a non-overtime. The club now sits at 29-11 on the year with a 3.5 game lead over the Cavs for second in the Eastern Conference.
