The D-League is back for another episode about the trials and tribulations of your favourite beer league team that you never knew you needed in your life.

On the latest episode, we profiled Luca, who's been known to be quite the confident player out on the ice. With his luscious locks spilling out the back of his now undersized helmet, Luca currently sits third in the team in points with nine goals and 11 assists. We've noticed that his high levels of confidence are starting to develop into cockiness, and it's starting to impact the way he plays out there.

It's got to the point where Luca will repeatedly slam his stick on the ice in hopes of receiving a pass when he's not even open. Sometimes, he even does it when he mans the blueline and the puck is up ice well out of his vicinity.

Willing to go end-to-end at any given time, it's only fitting someone who wears the same number as Connor McDavid is such a puck hog, but if you've seen who’s feeding Luca most the time, you can't really blame him.

Sorry Corwin, but Luca really does have a point here. Whether it's firing it into a teammates' skates, or whiffing on one and causing a turnover, playmaking really isn't one of your strong suits.

Yes, you have some decent dangles and can use your lanky frame to shield the puck, but your dishing skills aren't disarable whatsoever. We know you have ten apples in 13 games, but our analytics department tells us those are mostly secondary helpers with the heavy lifting being done by the primary playmaker. But hey, to your credit, a points a point, as they say.
