Ronald Acuña Jr. has been on an absolute tear as of late for the Atlanta Braves.

The 20-year-old rookie entered Wednesday night’s tilt against the Miami Marlins on a five-game home run streak and eight home runs in his last eight games. However, he wasn’t able to extend his streak on Wednesday as he was plunked by Marlins pitcher José Ureña and was forced to leave the game.

As you can probably guess, Acuña’s teammates did not like that one bit and stormed the field in his honour.

Acuña attempted to come back out for the second inning, but he exited the game before the inning got underway.

While most Braves fans are probably considered about the youngster’s health going forward, they did receive a little bit of good news as Acuña’s streak will still be in tact when he returns to the lineup.
