Thursday night, Lonzo Ball made his highly anticipated NBA debut for the Los Angeles Lakers as they faced off against their rivals, the Clippers.

Early in the first quarter, the second overall pick got welcomed to the NBA by Patrick Beverley who played some tight defence on him and eventually knocked him over.

Beverley has always been known for his ability on the defensive end of the floor and for not backing down from anyone, whether it be Stephen Curry or Ball.

Not only did Beverley take it to Lonzo on the defensive end of the floor, but he also took it to him on the offensive end of the floor.

Hey Lonzo, you can't see him.

Ball had a rough first game in the NBA to say the least and the Lakers got blown out, but he and his team can only go up from here, right?
