The 2018-19 NHL season all comes down to Wednesday night as the St. Louis Blues and the Boston Bruins head into Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final locked in a 3-3 series tie.

Most fans would consider the home team to be the favourite for a game this big considering they get to play in front of their loyal fans, but the Blues will have their superfan in attendance for the biggest game of the year and biggest game in franchise history.

On the eve of Game 7, Blues superfan Laila Anderson got incredible news as she found out the doctors cleared her to travel to Boston for the game, which she was invited to by the Blues organization.

Anderson was suffering from a rare disease called HLH, or hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, which is a life-threatening condition where a patient’s immune system begins to attack their own tissues and organs. Earlier this season, the Blues actually helped her search for a bone marrow donor, and now she’s going to be by their side in Boston cheering them on in Game 7.
