The Golden State Warriors got a huge boost to their lineup on Monday night as Kevin Durant made his return to the lineup, but things went south pretty quickly as Durant was forced out of the game before halftime due to an Achilles injury.

From the moment Durant went down to the time he was limping off the court alongside Andre Iguodala and Steph Curry, the two-time NBA Finals MVP received plenty of positive vibes and messages from fans and athletes across North America. After the game, Warriors president of basketball operations Bob Myers spoke about Durant’s injury and was visibly upset about the injury.

The Warriors don’t exactly know the extent of Durant’s injury just yet, but it doesn’t look good as they’re already ruling it to be an Achilles injury.

We’ll have to wait and see what the diagnosis is, but hopefully Durant is able to make a speedy recovery to his true form after this is all said and done.
