Back. To. Back.

Whew, say it with me now.

Back. To. Back.

Is it the beginning of a dynasty? Time will tell, but nobody can deny the Tampa Bay Lightning of the glory they feel from going back-to-back in hoisting the Stanley Cup. That’s enshrined forever.

Now, if you put any weight into GM Julien BriseBois’ latest comments, the Bolts appear to be the place to be. According to Brisebois, agents have been calling them trying to find a spot on the Bolts roster for their clients, and – like in the case of Zach Bogosian – they’re taking less money.

AN ABSOLUTE FLEX.

They’ve got guys approaching them and willing to take less money because they want to be somewhere as special as the Lightning roster. It’s possible that this is all just hyperbole or smokescreen from the Bolts’ GM, but we don’t think any other team could drop this kind of flex right now.

Who’s next?
