Brad Marchand has earned a reputation around the NHL for being a bit of a pest on the ice, but now he’s taking his talents to social media where he’s doing his best to annoy those closest to him.
The Boston Bruins blanked the New York Islanders on Tuesday night to gain some more ground on the Toronto Maple Leafs in the standings and the fun times for the Bruins carried over to Twitter after the game.
It all started with Marchand chirping David Pastrnak’s Patrik Laine-esque beard after the game and that was just the beginning an incredible Twitter war.
Seriously, they were just warming up.
Marchand kept going for the comparisons, while Pastrnak got a little personal and took some big shots at Marchand.
It looks like their Twitter war has come to an end, but they have a quick trip to New Jersey to settle things.
