For any broadcaster, name pronunciation is the most important part of the job.
You never want to pronounce someone's name wrong and the way to ensure you don't do that is simply by asking the players how to properly pronounce their first and last name.
Sometimes the names that look the easiest to pronounce are actually the ones that we're unknowingly pronouncing wrong and apparently Brad Marchand's last name is one of those.
So there you have it, if you were pronouncing it the wrong way, you now know the correct way, and if you were saying his last name right the entire time, carry on.
