There were many talking points that came out of the Leafs win over the Bruins Monday night in Toronto.

For starters, the Leafs swept the season series against the Bruins for the first time since the 1924-25 season (minimum 4 games played).

There was also the late penalty against Boston that cost them the game that they weren't happy about, but there was something bigger than both of those notes from the game.

In the third period, tensions between Brad Marchand and Leo Komarov boiled over as the two got into a verbal fight in the form of trash talk on the bench, and while the Bruins lost the game, it's safe to say Marchand won the war of words.

"I'll send you a stick over after the game. I'll send you a stick over." - Brad Marchand to Leo Komarov

"I'll send a stick over."  How do you even respond to a great chirp like that?

Marchand, who had an assist in the loss, is in the midst of a career year, which makes the stick offer chirp even better.

After the game, Leo was asked about what was said on the bench and here's what he had to say:

Obviously he's not going to open up on everything that was said, but whatever Leo was saying seemed to fire his teammates up:

It's very unfortunate the season series between these two teams is over, but the playoffs are right around the corner and with the way things are panning out, the only time we'd get a Boston and Toronto series would be in the Eastern Conference Finals, which we wouldn't mind one bit.
