People really need to just back off of Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand on Twitter.

The 30-year-old has been in the center of some hilarious conversations in the past and his latest came after his teammate and good friend Patrice Bergeron completed his 1,000th NHL game. Marchand attempted to congratulate Bergeron on the milestone through Twitter but was quickly called out by teammate Torey Krug, who pointed out that Marchand was just three seats behind him while posting the tweet. Marchy obviously wasn’t going to let that slide so he called Krug out for doing the exact same thing.

That's just weird.

So this situation was obviously light-hearted but Marchand hasn’t been so kind in the past. After a fan called him a plug online, Marchand went as far as telling the antagonist that he looks like the pig from Charlotte Web… just gutless!

The roasting actually prompted Krug to encourage more tweets from Marchand, which in hindsight maybe wasn’t such a good idea.

We’re sure Bergeron appreciated the shout out, but it’s definitely awkward trying to envision all of this happening while the three were all so close to one another.
