​Braden Holtby and his turtles have finally made it across the Canadian border!

One of the stranger stories of the hockey offseason was when Braden Holtby made the move from his former team, the Washington Capitals, to the Vancouver Canucks. However, Holtby and his wife Brandi were stuck at the Canadian border on account of their tortoises, Honey and Maple.

Good news on that front: Honey and Maple have made it across the border!

The internet has come through already with the photoshops, but after Holtby’s turtles became minor celebrities this week, you know the reunion photo is going to do numbers.
