Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. One of the most iconic duos in the sport of football. If you listen closely enough, you can actually hear NFL linebackers and defensive backs shudder at the very mention of the two.

The Patriots super connection has been a huge part of New England’s dynasty. Gronk’s size and speed is hard to match up against, let alone that he has some of the softest hands in the league for such a big body.

If you look at them as people, however, the two could not be more different.

Brady is disciplined and gives the impression that he is all business. Gronk, on the other hand, is goofy and loves to joke around about… er… adolescent things. While both are very dedicated to their sport, you wouldn’t think the two would be brought together if it weren’t for the sport they both love.

During Sunday’s wild evening matchup with the Chiefs, there was a moment that hilariously summarized this relationship. Fans are used to hearing quarterbacks belt out their coded plays, but they don’t necessarily know what “Green 2-80, hut!” means. This particular play was a little easier to decipher.

Good boy, now sit. Roll over! Okay here’s a treat.

Somehow that moment between the two seems like a perfect glimpse into their relationship. Gronk obediently stands up and then glances around, seemingly confused. Either way, you can bet Gronk and Brady were friends again after a huge catch from the hulking tight end set up a game winning field goal with 0:03 to spare.
