Brendan Gaunce needs your help.

Gaunce, who's currently playing for the Utica Comets of the AHL as a member of the Canucks organization, issued multiple tweets on Tuesday asking for people to be on the lookout for a stolen Stanley Cup ring.

Gaunce's older brother, Cameron, currently plays for the Syracuse Crunch and suited up for 12 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins when they won their second of back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2017 and had his ring stolen out of their "Toronto area" home on Monday night.

The rings were located in a safe, but the entire safe was taken out of their home. As per Joe Smith of The Athletic, the safe was stolen out of their mother Barb’s house in Etobicoke, a city located in the western part of Toronto. The Gaunce brothers hail from Markham, Ontario.

It sucks, plain and simple,” Gaunce said to Smith. “Of course, there’s a price tag on it, because it’s the real world and there are prices on everything. But the sentimental value is hardest on myself and my family and her family.

“Just knowing you worked toward something your whole life, you achieve it, and without it being anyone’s fault — we did everything we could to prevent something like this — it is taken from you. It’s hard.”

Those with information are asked to contact Gaunce on Twitter (@BrendanGaunce16), or notify the Toronto Police Department.

“Being an optimist says maybe people will see this, see it’s very special and sentimental and find a way to get it back,” Gaunce said. “But the reality is they can just take the diamonds off the ring and sell them. It sucks.”
