The MLB All-Star game is in Washington this year.  Monday night, the Home Run Derby went down and there was one player everyone in attendance was cheering for, Bryce Harper.

The Nationals' All-Star has been hitting bombs all season long and he had the chance to win the Home Run Derby for the first time in front of the hometown crowd.

Bryce was in tough, though, as the field featured a number of great hitters and it ultimately came down to him and Kyle Schwarber of the Cubs.  With time winding down, Harper went OFF to capture the crown.

Harper was down 9 and went ballistic to tie it up before hammering a homer to win it. Fans in attendance were loving every second of Harper's final round and celebration, and the sports world loved it as well!
