With Christmas right around the corner we’ve seen a lot of athletes and sports franchises get into the holiday spirit in many different ways. From charitable initiatives to special pre-game outfits to lip-syncing music videos, we’ve seen them get into the holiday spirit in many creative ways.
The WHL’s Portland Winterhawks celebrated the holiday season by lip-syncing along to Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ in a music video that they released that week and they weren’t the only ones as the Calgary Hitmen also had some fun with their rendition of Dean Martin’s ‘Winter Wonderland’.
The team took a different route than the Winterhawks did with their video and shot the entire thing at the Calgary Zoo. They did things a little differently last season when they went with Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ and shot the entire thing at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
